Owner responsibility
Owners are responsible for display names, marks, media and destinations associated with their components. Content must be lawful, safe to load and suitable for a broadly accessible public artwork.
Not permitted
- Malware, phishing, credential theft or deceptive wallet requests.
- Illegal content, exploitation, credible threats or targeted harassment.
- Hateful content directed at protected groups.
- Impersonation or false claims of endorsement.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights.
- Sexual content involving minors or non-consensual intimate material.
- Destinations designed primarily to manipulate token prices or mislead purchasers.
Moderation
Project-operated interfaces may warn about, replace or hide owner content that violates these rules or creates a security risk. Moderation affects presentation only and does not seize, burn or transfer the NFT.
Updates and review
Owners may replace mutable identity references. Moderation decisions may be reviewed when the owner provides evidence that the content is lawful, authorized and safe. Urgent security threats may be suppressed immediately.
Third-party interfaces
Independent wallets, marketplaces and community renderers may apply different policies. Circuit 5850 cannot require third parties to display owner content.
